Subject	intercooler install & carbon canister

Message	I am getting ready to install Z1 intercoolers on my 91tt using stock sized hoses. I do not want gasoline fumes in my garage, so I would prefer to leave the carbon canister installed. Do I have room to leave it installed? Has anyone installed a smaller canister from another car? Does the air blockage from the canister prevent leaving it installed? I have seen Robo's method of plugging the canister hoses, does this work to prevent fumes? I have read mixed results. David G
